Description
COFFEY, Circuit Judge. On November 17, 1989, the defendant, Willie J. Reed, was convicted before a jury of two counts of possession with intent to distribute cocaine and two counts of distributing cocaine in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1). On January 19, 1990, the district court sentenced Reed to 121 months in confinement. Reed filed a timely appeal of his conviction but the appeal was held in abeyance pending the resolution of a number of post-trial motions. On August 12, 1991, Reed filed a motion for a new trial "in the interests of Justice" which the district court denied on January 24, 1992. Reed appealed and his two appeals were consolidated by this court. We affirm.
