Defendants Eddie Pope, Joshua James, Larry Norris, and Robert P. Williamson were found guilty of conspiring to distribute heroin, in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 846. Of the numerous issues raised in their consolidated appeals, only one merits extended treatment.
